About this installation
All of our timbers are pressure treated with a chrome-free and arsenic-free preservative which protects against decay and insect attack for 20 years.
We offer a variety of different sizes of outdoor classrooms – both full shelters and half shelters, as well as those with floors and those without floors. We’d be happy to talk to you in more detail about finding the right option for your educational environment.
What are the benefits of outdoor classrooms?
As with all of our outdoor learning and play equipment, there are many benefits to outdoor classrooms:

- Children can enjoy outdoor learning daily, no matter what the weather, as an outdoor classroom offers shelter from the sun and rain.
- An outdoor classroom provides a space for relaxation and mindfulness promoting health and well-being as the children are outside in the fresh air.
- Applications for an outdoor classroom are multi-faceted – reading, drama theatres, general teaching, a waiting shelter for parents, a community facility, a nurture room and an eating area.

Having already worked with All Saints Primary School on two previous projects – one nursery makeover and one KS2 Trim Trail and surfacing project – we were delighted to be chosen to work with them again on this new project.

What sizes of outdoor classroom are available?
We offer a variety of sizes, including both full shelters and half shelters, and versions with or without floors. Our range covers the Alpine Shelter, Square Shelter Complete Package, Octavia Half Shelters at 5m and 6m, and Standard Shelters from 2.4 x 4.4m up to 9.6 x 4.4m.
